navidad y regresar

first, christmas in lima is different, many flikkering lights, lineshaped animals, much loud music.. ooks an very extroverted fest but on christmaseve its with the family, anyway... on the right parts some streets are with a million lights and ervery posible chrismasshape, i made i little movie.. hope to upload soon.. and btw, FELIZ NAVIDAD A TODOS!

on chrismasday i took a bus back to quito, well guayaquil and there i would take the next one to quito. well 1 hour on a bus is a lot, try 40.. thats how long it took to get from lima to quito.. it was funny, the people in the bus became like a little family, i talked around and i even didnt go alone to quito, because one guy planned the same trip as me.. unfortunalty he had a really bad handwriting so can not reach him anymore...tssssssssss

i get safe and sound back...and apparently they are working in the office so its impossible to go to work this week.. its a shame!! couldnt they tell me it somewhere around guayaquil then i stayed some days more in vilacabambe to discover how the people over there live till 150 years..its a shame.. hahahahahahaha

NUEVO ANO will be at the coast.. lets see how thats gonna be...

Cuenca Peru

mancora, our first stop in peru,one-eyed-me and serbs with something on their head

hola,
im having my christmas holidays at the moment and i have to admit, not bad..not at all. I decided to go with Iva and Milos ( 2 from serbia) to join them in their adventure to peru. First we had a stop in the bueatiful and peaceful Cuenca, south of Ecuador and normally also Loja and Ingapirca but for one reason i cant remember, oh ja, the ticky time scedule, we decided to go directly to Peru. Crossing the boarder was our first adventure and they got us. The taxi driver framed us in every possible way. We paid a fortune for the ride of 15 minutes, we got a fake 20 dollar bill and he gave to little change back. Incredible...In Peru we first spend too days in Mancora a surfersparadise, and then got ot Trujillo an ugly city but we went visisting our first Inca stuff.. Chan chan and Huaca del sol y de la luna.. and now im in Lima, were Ivas father lives. The welcome was even for me very warm and amable...anyway tomorrow we go to cusco and machupichu the heart of the incas... be jealous and ciaooo

lima in sepia,
near the harbour..iva as moreno.. i as a less morena

btw, in peru their exist a nakes dog, he can be black, brown or pink as a pig and he only has some with hair on its head. He is that special that peru called him 'national inheritage'
btw2 in trujillo we had to wait for the bus so we talked a bit with one of the guides. Apparently they really believe in the power of the incas and their gods. When they are in the period of excavating ( opgraven)- only some moths a year- they have many rituals. Like they put herbs on their eyes, ears and mouth otherwise the bad spirit can come into you, what can lead to death

fin de semana...fiesta de quito

el viernas a la noche! perfect night; drinks fun and a great 'party'in the hostal. After that we decided to go to el indulte, a so-called typical party for the fiestas de Quito. It was so crowded that their wore no tickets left, so i went with tanja, alfredo y rachid to another one. Horrible high entrance but including a singer, free drinks, free food and blabla.. no it wasn't worth it!! and i doubt about the typical or traditional status of it.. then you can call ilovetechno also traditional..
Anyway, on saterday i went to los torros.. wow.. double feelings, the show with the torreador is really great but i dont know about the killing...i didn't like that part. Afterworths there were concerts with traditional music and is was great. The night was tranquillo, playing pool, watching a movie...
On sunday i went to Latacunga to visit some friends i met in the bus some weeks ago. There were torros again, but it was really funny, jovenes were running after the bull and visa versa. Around it there were (kraampjes) with food and drinks. Because i was the only foreigner and i knew Luis, i was like a famous person. I also met Cristian and Carlos again...Luis took me to his house because i had to meet his mum and visit his house. It was cosy but without any luxury...
Apparently the mum is of great importance in this country. Because the bulls were not in the center of Latacunga, Alejandro, wanted to drive us with his car to the terminal...but he had drunk some beers and his mum didnt give him permission to drive- this guy was around 25 i guess- and when the mum says no its no, so we we had to take a pickup to get back..

VIP

so yesterday was the oficial opening of the FIESTAS THE QUITO. I think it will be something like GENSTE FEESTEN but a bit bigger.. i dont know... Primero there was a huge defilé of children, drummers, trumpetplayers, turnsters and more. I think the parade was more then 2 hours, and if there are drummers, it was with an amount of 50 people.. incredible. Everything united at the plaza de san fransisco. We, Angel and I, were lucky cause we got some VIP tickets, so we could sit and enjoy the spectacle 2 seats away from correa, the fresh president and la reina de Quito.. Furthermore, we smoggeled 2 of our friends inside so it was great! VIP IN QUITO....I LOVE IT
