wkend guayaquil

voila, we went...to guayaquil. a trip of 8hours one way brought us to a different world. Guayaquil, the biggest city of ecuador and hot hot and a lot of humidity. About the city, well its huge, more pobresse then in Quito...the city has not so much things to see.. except 2 restored areas. One is a walkpath near the river guayas the other the neighbourhood, las peñas, houses in all colors on a hill. Well and that was about it..

The funny thing wore the leguanas.. in one parc they wore running free and they wore huge.. it was great see them climbing, running or just laying down in the middle of the path

In the night we decided to see the whats the nightlife is about...so we landed in the downtown area, where except from two others, no tourists wore seen. Entrance 5 dollares y bar libre.. ai ai ai..at 5 in the morning we had enough, went back to the hostal and left some hours later to see the coast. PLAYAS.. area for Ecuadorians...full, full of people

lavanderia en slang

ja lap, kheb et zitten...
in de lavanderia zijn ze een kledingstuk kwijt ..
je weet wel, dat zwart pulleke zonder mouwen met een vhals dat een beetje gestropt is..
baf ze zijn et kwijt al willen ze et niet toegeven.. mañana, alsof de kabouterkes het terug gaan brengen..
bon, kmoet dus in tspaans van mijnen tak gaan maken.. dat gaat nogal wat geven...

en deel 2, seriues verbrand zaterdag.. redelijk pijnlijk en gisteren werd ik geintroduceerd bij de slangachtigen... nochtans heb ik er bakkenaftersun opgesmeerd..

Im a climbinglady.. i conquer mountains

Voila, sooo..
fin de semana and with no plans in advance, okee, plans with the disease of maybe.. and maybe was sick and the end so no plans. So saterday was a beautiful day, so i decided to clean my cloths in the roof of the hostal where they have an advanced system for that.. Damn unfortunatly i forget to put suncreme on a part of my back so aawchh..

Called tanja, we cooked together and went to Calderon, not far away from Quito where they have, zoutdeeg figures.. naajs cool and it filled the day...

But the best thing was sunday! To climb on the Pachacamac ( think its the wrong name) But the height started at 2800 and we went to el cumbre( the top) thats at 4200 almost and that in 4 hours..

returning went worse, started raining and i fell, i fell and i fell again... 3 hours, completely wet but happy!
During this climbing there wore some horses and i called them, moved my hand slowly and they came, on of them really liked my taste and liked it... know what, all this nature in ecuador.. perhaps im a horsewisperer, because the horse was really scared of tanja..
huh.. i felt so cool

Fin de semana numero olvido

So.. salsa got his way into our lives.. on friday we wore to death to go again but on saterday.. en pleine forme
Because on saterday Marissa and her cousin(US) spend their last days in south-america, so.. salsaaa with guys guys and more guys...and they all like us, ok and we them.. haha, because they dance so nice


Ok on saterday i went with Luis to the zoo.. well well.. the zoo is really far away, and there are a lot of animals missing.. still el niño that weatherfenomena makes the climat like in summertime, so its amazing to walk around these days.

And sunday, climbing/ walking day again.. now we, Ale(MEX), Tanja (GE) and I (BE) went with Alfonso (EC) to Papallacta. This place is mostly known by his aguas calientes, hotwaterbaths but is also very beautiful. So first walking, eating sandwiches with cheese and then relaxing in the hotwaterpools..



End of the day, goodbye Marissa with a cup of delicious mocachino...

proxima semana

the wkend in between was tranquile,
first the bloodcheck for hepatitis.. im safe.. oefff
then shopping with Luis
and later up tp Cotocolla for dinner and watching videos
and on sunday a big walk in the sun again

anyway, Philippe came back.. well..his computermousse died


i tried to go back to spanish school but after trying to times, and my professor didnt show up the first time and didnt knew the second time.. and didnt answer anything.. ive decided its time for a new school.. unfortunalty im still in search for it..with salsa school everything goes lots better, and every week i have my hour

on jueves we went to dance salsa, okee i went first to the movies with franklin and joined the 2 other salsaqueens later, the movie VOLVER with Penelope Cruz... beautiful movie.. we danced danced and danced till 4 in the morning, work the day after was a little bit harder...but it was friday, time for some wkend!

Work was a hell, rebuildinging, the offices, so many noice, no dsk anymore, loss o several documents and many more..at night i went to the movies- saw movies- bought a book –cuentos de buenas noches- sprookjes dus, and i got my package!!!

nuevo año y infeccíon

First of all happy new year everybody!
The main idea or new year was, go to the beach, bake and have fun. Unfortunatly had mister foodinfection other plans. The frday when i wanted to leae i got killed by that infection. Esult, not to the coast because the food there is even wurse then in Quito, a diet and antibiotca...i loved it.

So Greek Angel, newyearssaver, took me for old year with him to an amazing family. These people were great, i was a complete stranger but became famil in 5 minutes. Around 3o clock we had a dinner- barbecue with delicious meat. No it wasnt fancy, we even took the meet with our hands, but there was so many friendlness and love around tat it felt great.

Old and new year are in ecuador pretty special. On the last days, people stqrt selling, buying, making, dressing up dolls, the ‘viejos’ of viejos anos. They are as big as a human and carry a rhyme- rijmpje- with a funny saying of a thing that happened in the old year. During the last day they make a testimony with things they wish for the futur year. Another typical thing for old year are the boys dressed up in woman and they stop every car to do an act and to collect some money. At mdnight, everybody is coming out wth his viejo, put it in the middle of the street- so every 3m there is laying down a doll- and start burning it. It was a special and emotional moment when you see the whole city burning and the whole street is saying happy new year to each other...

newyearsday was lovely, i went walking to guapuplo said ola to the old couple that was sitting next to the street and the sun was shining perfectly. Then i went to parque carolina to have a little rest...lovely....

aha, on saterday 30th i had kind of a date, meeting, whatever..so me to that place, to another village and everybody was out of quito so i was happy with this event. so i thought ok, first dinner or something and then going to dance... aha.. well i was almost correct.. i only had forgotten the mess (mis) because between christmas and new year its traditional to go with a nino, little doll in bed, like jezus, to nthe church and let it blessed.. almost evry family has one and certainly in these little villages. So my date started with a mess.. and then i went eating dancing with him and his friends.
